What is Strontium Oxalate LR & AR Grade?

Strontium oxalate is a white inorganic powdered compound that can exist in either hydrated or acidic salt of strontium oxalate form. It is the chemical compound of silver. It is used in experimental petrology to add carbon dioxide to experiments. The compound is one of the coordination polymer crystals which proves to be a promising synthetic precursor for transformation into Silver nanoparticles without any reducing chemicals.

Strontium Oxalate is highly insoluble in water and converts to oxide when heated (calcined). It shows great solubility with hydrochloric acid and nitric acid. The molecular formula for Strontium Oxalate is SrC2O4.
